Singbox and Yasijang: A Taste of Korean Karaoke & Asian Fusion in Carrollton, TX

ENTRANCE is on the opposite side of the building, NOT by Wicked Snow. if you take the hallway by the sign next to wicked snow, you have to walk all the way down the hall and turn to the left, walk down that hall, go back outside, turn to the right and walk and itll be to the right. (it is down the road where pinkbox is.) RATE - 5 people for $30/hour the audio was really loud inside the room and it was not extremely hot in the room like KTV is. the remote was a little difficult to use (some of the buttons stuck to the remote when you pressed them) and there was options to search by country (china/japan/korea/pop which is western/etc) or artist, and in english or korean. it took a minute to figure out but we got it in the end. they do not have a super large number of artists available but youll figure out quickly which kinds of artists will be available. you can hear other rooms when you are choosing a song but the audio is loud in the room while you are playing a song so there won't be any disturbances. no complaints about the mic. we did not order food so i have nothing to say on that! i also dont have complaints about the staff as she only lead us to the room and explained how the remote worked, and took our payment. they dont have a payment flyer anywhere for some reason. there was also a button in the room (i did not test it) if you wanted to call a staff member. BYOB is not allowed. It says near the front that after 9 pm, 21+ is allowed only and a physical id must be shown. not so sure if they check on that though.

I think the manager and stuff changed. I read reviews (bad about service) but I don’t feel so. People work over there are (most are korean) very kind and nice service. Bartender likes to creat new drinks so if you want to have something special ask him to make it. Inside Karaoke is very clean and nice. They have plenty size (2ppl-20ppl) so you can have a party. They have a good selection of drinks (liquor) and food! Also they have many Japanese, English, and Korean songs ! It’s great for couples, friends, and family. But not recommend night time for taking little kids.

Fun place to go with friends really good prices and you can call ahead to check availability! Only con is that they lack a lot of popular songs like some Drake songs and newer rap and the machine definitely has a learning curve but other than that super fun experience!

The prices were reasonable, and the staff were very friendly. Especially on weekdays they have a happy hour special package, so it’s a great place to have fun at a good price You choose songs from the system they already have. It’s a bit disappointing that only a limited number of rooms allow phone connection, but they already have a large song selection, so there’s no problem enjoying and singing

We have been coming to Singbox for years due to its proximity to the restaurants in Carrollton and have always had a great time. Earlier this year they had seemingly undergone a change in management which included renovations and updating the rooms/machines, and these updates have significantly elevated the experience. The staff is also incredibly friendly and responsive when ordering drinks/food to the rooms. We have been with groups as small as 3 and as large as 20 and they have always had a room to accommodate. I would definitely recommend coming, especially to those who haven’t been here in a while. They do use TJ media machines, so they do have an online music bank to look up song availability as well as books that you can request with song lists.

The staff was extremely courteous for the most part. The receptionist at the front desk was extremely helpful on making the reservation for a room in advance. She was extremely helpful on explaining me on how to use the controls, and how to order foods/drinks. She was extremely courteous from beginning to the end. The food and drinks were really good and at reasonable price. However we ran into an issue where we had to open the door of the room, due to being hot. Then another staff member, he was a Male, showed up into our room stating when the other people of the group were going to show up. I knew some people of the group were coming late. I kind of figured that he came to our room due to having the door opened, but we didn't had the door halfway opened. Yet the room next to us had their door totally opened, and their doors were opened the entire time we were there. All the Male employee had to tell us was to keep the doors closed and we would closed it, and would not had to be subtle about it. I wish I could of given a 5 star review, because the service was great overall. It was just that instance that made me give it a 4 star. I wouldn't mind coming again if a similar situation wouldn't happened.

Friendly staff. Reasonable priced drinks and fast to reply to orders. The controller was in Korean but has stickers in English and staff were helpful in explaining before leaving. They didn't have all the songs we were looking for but had a big enough selection.

MJ got my party into a room quickly and provided us great service!! She is so sweet and made our visit amazing! This place is so fun
